Andrew F. Baker, from Georgetown, Kentucky, graduated from Scott County High School and Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in history.
Baker has been the Executive Director of Access Soup Kitchen and Men’s Shelter since December 2011. He served on the board of directors at the Soup Kitchen in 2010 and 2011.
Baker and his family first came to Frankfort in 2009 when he became director of Youth and Young Adults at Frankfort First United Methodist Church.
Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 215 in Georgetown, Kentucky, Baker is a member of the Elkhorn District Committee. He is a musician, and enjoys playing guitar during the day at the Soup Kitchen.
Baker’s wife, Lynn, is a Children’s Librarian and is an Adjunct Professor at Northern Kentucky University. They have been married since 1994.
Andrew and Lynn live in South Frankfort, and have two sons who are both students at Frankfort Independent Schools.
